A great way to spend a morning or an afternoon, enjoy a local expert sharing the insights and history of Mt Rushmore & its surrounds.
Our first stop is Iron Mountain Road, a scenic drive which was built purely to compliment that famous faces. Take in the great views and amazing engineering as we take our time through National Forest to the famous pigtail bridges and tunnels for great photo ops!
We then visit the monument itself, with time to visit the museums, walk the presidential trail and find a souvenir or two.
From the monument we make our way into Custer State Park to drive incredible Needles Hwy and stop at Sylvan Lake. Framed by geologic wonder, the needles spires take us through the final scenic drive of the day.
