Where we go
This tour leaves to and from central Rapid City- Spearfish Canyon
- Historic Lead – Homestake Mine/Sanford Labratories
- Historic Deadwood – Main Street, Mt Moriah Cemetery, Adams House Museum
- Optional addition – Devils Tower National Monument, WY
We begin the day with a visit to Historic Deadwood. Learn the fascinating history of this gold rush town as we enjoy the Adams House Museum and the graves of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane at Mount Moriah Cemetery; then take yourself back to 1876 as we wonder through Main Street!
We continue through famous Spearfish Canyon for stunning views of limestone cliffs, aspen trees and waterfalls. This gorgeous Black Hills scenery will be our post for a picnic lunch.
Spearfish Canyon will lead us to Homestake Mine (which is now the Stanford National Laboratory), to take in the gold mining of the past, and the amazing scientific research that is currently happening underground!
For a longer day, this tour can begin with Devils Tower. This option is for private groups only and pricing/timing will alter.

This is private tour, pricing as follows:
$650+ tax for up to 2 people
$150 + tax per extra person
$75 extra per person for the addition of Devils Tower National Monument, WY.
Included: Entrance fees, local guide, on onboard snacks and drinks, central rapid city pick up.
Excluded: Meals, Guide Gratuity, pick up outside of Central Rapid City.
